This fight taught me that, if you are going to get one shot by the king anyway, might as well invest all in what you attack him with the most: arcane: so with critical arcane to the max, the fight became incredibly more manageable.

Why do I have the feeling you haven't shown all the stone locations during your walkthrough. I have followed you step by step (minus the recording errors and file changes) and we have different numbers? Will this walkthrough have a part dedicated to the All You Can Eat Buffet trophy?

Dude, doing that lava part was insane. Since this was pre recorded and you mentioned that not having potions and re specing was a mustake, I returned to the necromancer build... And it still was insane... I know you like a challenge, but this one was a bit too much.

Judging how crap video games are atm i wont hold my breath that if the so called LOK series remastered be anything good. It be a very welcome surprise though if they turn out good but im keeping expectations low for good reason.

Legacy of Kain's story and lore is so rich and complex that it's tricky to tackle anything. They do mention here they will explore the genesis of Raziel's wings, so I hope they are aware it's not the feathered wings vampires get in this universe, but Hylden like wings. Hope they did their homework properly.

If this comes to pass, I hope the constrict ability (Gained by defeating Dumah.) gets an improved movement control and that it's used only for puzzle-solving, as it never worked as a combat mechanic.

Legacy of Kain is one of my favorites... I'm looking forward to seeing this

I'd love a Blood Omen remake.

I'd love Sr1&2 to recieve the remaster treatment like Nightdive did with Shadowman, but my dream is to get a next chapter in the LoK story, there's so much to explore both in the past eras, timelines but also we need a proper conclusion...🥲

Would love to get SR1+2 remaster, all the endgame credits designs like Melchiach made on a new engine omfg. If they would go with Defiance, maybe it would have a proper 3D camera rotation this time :D

Nosgoth could’ve been as big as diablo, wow, elder scrolls, or Witcher, baldurs gate and fall out. They really should’ve focused on the open world aspect and having more content in it.

If it's just a remaster, hopefully they use the Dreamcast version as a base instead of the PS1. The Dreamcast version was already a remaster of the PS1 version.

Don't allow Crystal Dynamics to make anything new. They've already ruined Tomb Raider. They will definitely ruin Legacy of Kain.

A remaster would be cool, but I want to see a remake that obviously stays very close to the original, but a remake of the entire legacy of kain series (except nosgoth) and really needs the original voice cast, wouldn't be the same without them

Well, heres a neat little tid bit you might have not known about. Raina Audron if you been in the legacy of kain fandom for a while you probably already heard of her. She was an environmental artist on the tomb raider remaster, and before that she made a fan mod of soul reaver 1 called soul reaver hd Witch i highly recomend you play.. So she' has already done half the work they could easily bring her on to the team and use what she's done on soul reaver hd and build upon that. Also if this so-called leak is true. Witch I hesitate to even call a leak since it's clearly intentional, it's more like a sneaky advertisement. But if it is true, we also have this new soul reaver comic coming out Soul Reaver The Dead Shall Rise what is supose to be all about raziel's past. Do you think they might add little easter eggs from that comic's through out these remasters? Kind of like how they added kain's painting in tomb raider remastered collection. like there might be portraits of that new female vampire character.

I’ve heard of rumors of the remasters coming a few years ago but nothing ever surfaced… until now at least. Kinda disappointed that defiance isn’t included since it’s a pretty essential part to the story.

Starting with Soul Reaver makes sense. It’s a perfect jumping on point. And it tells you everything you need to know about what happened in Blood Omen. The rest is lore; great but not needed. With Blood Omen they would have to either remake it into 3D or market a 2D game. The 2D backstory game can come later.

I'm so hyped 🎉 I need more info. Soul Reaver 1 was the first game I ever purchased for the PS1 back in 1999. I was happy when I saw the post. Just need to get my hands on those statues 😍. I have all the figures, including the 2003 SDCC exclusive figure. Dude im fired up. I cant wait to get my hands on the game. Ill buy the digital and physical copies on all platforms 🤩

The only thing that worries me is that one of the writers for the clone wars is part of this project.

The cover is good enough, maybe my expectations are too high, and I need to be pragmatic and see what this artist can do, I just hope the artwork is good on the inside, and not like most comics are where they have great covers and then mediocre artwork in the panels, that is something that I don't want to see, but if the story is good, I can overlook it. I know every artist is different, not everyone is Frank Frazetta, I guess I wasn't fully satisfied by it because Kain doesn't look that detailed far off in the cover, and I'm not a fan of that woman' vampire's hairstyle. I didn't know she had a crown of horns until the image was zoomed in, and it made me think of that Female Hylden, the Seer from Blood Omen 2. I don't believe that is her, but maybe there could be a connection, I am certain that she is of the Undead as Kain and Raziel are. The synopsis says she knew both Kain and Raziel, so is she another creation of Kain? That would break lore canon because Raziel is Kain's first kin unless they explain something of what happened after the events of Blood Omen 2. She could be one of Vorador's kin who chose to side with Kain instead of her Maker, and Kain blesses her by giving his blood to her to drink and is gifted with a portion of Kain's power in making her a member of his bloodline in a way and to make Vorador enraged. The one thing I do want to see is what happened to Vorador after Blood Omen 2. I like to imagine that Vorador declares Kain as his enemy for murdering his child Umah, refuses to ally with him, and banishes Kain from Sanctuary in Meridian. Kain leaves but manages to convince half of Vorador's children to side with him since he's proven capable of leading when he killed the Hylden lord, and they saw Kain as the quickest way to victory in their war against the remaining Sarafan Lords and their conspirators. Hopefully, we'll get questions answered. Human Raziel looks good on the cover which is the money shot in the art, but that is what I expect he would look like. He kind of looks like he's in the King's Guard or Golden Company from a Song of Ice and Fire which is good. He's got those handsome fantasy knight good looks like Jamie Lannister from a Song From Ice and Fire but without the blonde hair and incest. Maybe a little bit of John Snow in the design too, but the Human Raziel is a religious Zealot devoted to murder in the name of the one God of Nosgoth. That's the thing this book should show. That Human Raziel is a bastard. They could show how cruel Human Raziel was, not just to Vampires, but they could show him burning women and people of a different religion at the stake as witches to reveal how deadly Raziel and his brother's religious fanaticism was. Nosgoth is a gothic dark fantasy world that was once beautiful but has decayed in morals and environment over time, by the many players not just Kain, but Moebius, Mortanius, the Circle, the Vampires, the Hylden, and ultimately the Elder God that were all involved one way or another in dooming Nosgoth; and that is the central theme of Gothic literature itself, the theme of decay. The one hint we do know about Raziels past life was said by Moebius himself when he said he and Raziel were once close. To me, they can do something in showing how committed Raziel was to Moebius and maybe even saw him as a father figure; never knowing that he and his brothers were being easily manipulated to Moebius's cause and was so blind that he didn't know that Moebius was manipulating and orchestrating him and his brothers deaths at the hands of Raziel's future self. I hope this does well and that we do get more LOK content including Video games and maybe even content that explores Kain's life when he was Human because all we know about Kain's previous life is that he was born into an aristocratic family as a corrupted vessel to Nupraptor's madness. So that is something writers can explore as well. Guess we'll wait and see.
